Bluff Manufacturing

Bluff dock plates and container ramps for loading docks and sea containers. Choose an aluminum dock board with bolt-on steel curbs, rated 10,000 or 20,000 lb, or an all-steel Model CR shipping container ramp rated 15,000 or 20,000 lb. Both are built for forklift crossings.

Bluff Dock Plates and Container Ramps

Bluff boards pair a diamond deck aluminum plate with full-length structural steel curbs. The curbs are bolted on, add load-carrying strength and keep a wheel from running off the edge.

Dock Boards

  • Model AC, 10,000 lb — Sizes from 54" to 72" wide and 30" to 96" long, all rated 10,000 lb. Locking legs drop into the trailer gap to hold the board in place.
  • 72" x 60", 20,000 lb — 69" of usable width and an 11" lip for wide doors and heavier counterbalance forklifts. Weighs 277 lb.

The 72" x 60" Bluff dock board handles a 7" height difference with a pallet jack or electric forklift, and 9" with a propane or gas forklift.

Shipping Container Ramps

The Model CR is an all-steel welded shipping container ramp in 15,000 and 20,000 lb ratings. Locking chains with keepers hook into the container holes, a full-width stiffener braces against the container, and 4" curbs run down both sides.
