Cendrex Floor Hatch and Roof Hatch Models

The models here cover floor access between building levels and roof access from inside the building.

Cendrex Floor Hatches

All PPA floor hatches use a 1/4 in. aluminum door, a 2 x 2 x 1/4 in. aluminum angle frame, a 2 in. exposed flange and a 0.08 in. continuous piano hinge. Stock sizes are 24 x 24 and 24 x 36 in.

• Standard Latch — Recessed handle cam latch, diamond plate or smooth finish.
• Key Operated — Key operated recessed handle cam latch, in stock sizes or a non-returnable custom size.
• PPA-RE Recessed — Fill the door pan with your floor finish. 8 recess depths from 1/8 to 3/4 in., removable 4 in. handle, mill finish. Made in Canada.

Cendrex Roof Hatch

The TRH has a 14-gauge galvanneal steel cover with 1 in. fiberglass insulation and a 12 in. curb with fiberboard insulation. Two gas cylinders lift the cover. It comes in 36 x 30 and 36 x 36 in.

Which hatch for a tiled floor?

The PPA-RE. Choose the recess depth that matches your tile and setting bed, and the hatch finishes level with the floor.

Do larger floor hatches need stiffeners?

Aluminum stiffeners are added on PPA doors larger than 24 x 36 in.
