Caliber ProTech Trailer Flooring: Smooth or Textured

Both Caliber flooring lines use the same tile size, colors and install method. The difference is the surface, so pick by what rolls or walks across the floor.

Two Surfaces

  • ProTech (Smooth) — Flat surface with pass-through holes and channels for drainage and airflow. Easy to clean in a garage or workshop.
  • ProTech XT (Textured) — Surface texture for traction under ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles and boots, plus carbide-depth channels that guide a snowmobile. The pick for snowmobile trailer flooring.

Installation

  • Fit — Tiles snap together with male and female connections. Lay them left to right, back to front, with a 1/2 in. gap at the sidewalls.
  • Fastening — Floating, partially floating or fixed. Fixed installs use 1 in. #10 countersunk screws (not included).
  • Cutting — Cut lines every 3 in.; a knife blade or saw works.

Caliber Flooring FAQ

Can I mix ProTech and ProTech XT?

Yes. The two lines combine, so you can run XT down the center and smooth tiles at the sides.

How many packs do I need?

Each tile covers 1.125 sq. ft. Divide your floor area by 9 for 8-packs or by 27 for 24-packs, and round up.
