View full detailsPick the location first, then the door finish and lock. All four floor hatches are for interior floors in existing cement or poured-in-place concrete.
Every floor hatch door uses a 0.08 in. aluminum piano hinge and a 2 x 2 x 1/4 in. aluminum angle frame.
The roof access hatch is 14-gauge galvanneal steel with 1 in. fiberglass insulation in the cover and a 12 in. deep curb. Two gas cylinders assist opening, and interior and exterior handles work a slam latch. Sizes are 36 x 30 in. (178 lbs) and 36 x 36 in. (188 lbs).
What rough opening does a floor hatch need?
The hatch size plus 1/2 in. (13 mm). Sizes are written width by height, and the hinge sits on the height side.
Can I get other sizes?
