How to Choose an AC Machine

Start with the refrigerant your customers' cars use. Then compare tank size, vacuum pump and how much the machine checks on its own.

KATOOL Dual AC2100

  • Refrigerant — R-1234YF or R-134A, one per machine. Couplers for both are included.
  • Recovery — minimum 95% in under 30 minutes at 70–75°F.
  • Charge Accuracy — ±0.5 oz.
  • Vacuum Pump — 3.6 CFM dual-stage.
  • Controls — 7-inch touchscreen with a vehicle database, 9.8 ft. SAE J2788 hoses.

Rotary R3AC50

  • Refrigerant — R134a.
  • Tank — 50 lb onboard refrigerant tank.
  • Vacuum Pump — 4 CFM double-stage.
  • Charge Accuracy — ±0.5 oz, with automatic leak detection.
  • Display — 5.7 in. color TFT that shows oil and refrigerant levels.

Can one machine do both R-1234YF and R-134A?
