Service Ramps / Wheel Risers

Wheel riser ramps raise a trailer to dock height or lift a truck for service. Vestil aluminum risers are rated 30,000 lb per pair in 18" and 24" widths. HD Ramps adds adjustable risers rated 40,000 lbs per pair and service ramps for pickups and semi tractors, rated 7,000 to 20,000 lbs per axle.

Choosing Wheel Riser Ramps

This collection covers two jobs. Dock risers lift a trailer's wheels so a fork truck works on a safer grade. Service ramps lift a truck so you can work underneath it without a pit.

Vestil Wheel Risers for Loading Docks

Vestil sells these risers each, and the 30,000 lb rating is per pair, so order two.

  • Width — 18" or 24".
  • Length — 48" to 120". Longer risers give a longer level section for the wheels.
  • Height — 5-7/8", 7-7/8", 9-7/8" or 11-7/8".
  • Build — aluminum with 1/4" treadplate and an 18 degree ramp incline.

Vestil cites OSHA 1910.30(a) and ANSI B56.1 for these risers.

HD Ramps Adjustable Wheel Risers

Rated 40,000 lbs per pair with a serrated aluminum deck and adjustable height. Choose 66" or 90" lengths for wheels up to 18" wide, or a 66" model for wheels up to 27" wide.

Truck Service Ramps

  • Truck Service Ramps — 7,000 lbs per axle, 63" long, for pickups, SUVs, vans and campers.
  • Semi Truck Wheel Riser Service Ramps — 20,000 lbs per axle, 64" long, for semi tractors, Class A motorhomes and small buses.
  • Low Profile Semi-Truck Service Ramps — 15,000 lbs per axle, 13" tall on a 4.4 degree incline, 138-3/8" long. Built so a low air dam clears.

All three HD Ramps service ramps are aluminum with integrated wheel stops.
