12,000 lb Symmetric Two-Post Car Lift with AV Arms β Trucks, EVs, SUVs
A 10K two-post covers the daily-driver mix, but the work that pays β HD trucks, loaded vans, EVs with skateboard batteries β sits right at or over its limit. Turning that work away, or lifting at the margin, is how shops lose jobs and sleep.
The Rotary SPO12 is a 12,000 lb symmetric two-post lift built on a broader base and equipped with Rotary's AV Armsβ’ β three-stage arms with greater reach, retraction and vehicle access. Lift anything within rated capacity and clearance, including EV batteries, truck frames, and unibody cars and SUVs.
Which SPO12 Configuration Do You Need?
Read this before you pick your options above. The lift is the same machine in every configuration β same 12,000 lb capacity, same AV Arms, same adapters, same power unit, same 60-second rise. What changes is the column stance and the column height.
-
Truck Adapter Package β the standard column stance, 11' 5 5/8" as shipped.
-
Wide β Rotary's wide configuration, for bays where drive-thru clearance is the constraint.
-
Standard, 13' 8" overall β needs a 13' 9" minimum clear ceiling. Available in Blue with the Truck Adapter Package.
-
+1 ft Extended, 14' 8" overall β one foot of added column height for taller cargo vans.
-
+2 ft Extended, 15' 8" overall β two feet of added column height for the tallest bodies in the mix.
Height is the one to measure for. Check your ceiling at its lowest point, lights and door tracks included, and note that Rotary publishes a minimum ceiling figure for the standard build only β if an extended build puts you near your roof, call us before you order. Column width adjusts at install on every build, from an 11' 5 5/8" stance out to 11' 11" or 12' 5".

Made For
The SPO12 is the step up for shops whose vehicle mix has outgrown a 10K lift.

- Fleet operations lifting loaded service vehicles
- Dealership service lanes covering trucks and EVs on one lift
- Shops preparing for EV work with battery-level lift points
Features

-
Symmetric configuration β the vehicle centers between columns for balanced heavy lifting
-
3 height builds on this page β 13' 8" standard, plus 1' and 2' extensions for taller cargo vans
-
2 HP power unit at 208-230V single-phase β runs on the supply most shops already have
-
75 3/4"β78 1/8" rise in 60 seconds β full working height fast
-
3 standard width settings β 11' 5 5/8" stance, opening to 11' 11" or 12' 5" for wide-body vehicles
Arms That Reach What Other Lifts Can't
The three-stage AV Arms retract shorter and extend farther than conventional two-stage arms β a 27 1/2" to 59" reach range. Short vehicles spot without arm interference, and long-frame trucks still get solid contact at all four points.
One Bay, Sedan to HD Truck
With the included TA truck and RA round poly adapters, the same bay swings between a unibody sedan and a body-on-frame HD truck without changing hardware. A 3 7/8" minimum adapter height keeps low-clearance lift points and EV battery trays reachable.
