A 4-post lift holds the car by its tires. That is great for oil changes and exhaust work. But the moment a job needs a wheel off, the car has to come up off the runways — and a floor jack under a raised lift is slow and awkward.

The Rotary RJ6100Y rides on the lift runways and raises the vehicle up to 6,000 lbs off them, so the wheels hang free for brake, suspension and tire service. It runs on shop air, telescopes to fit runways from 36 3/4" to 46 1/16" apart, and locks at full rise.
