Why the Chain Lock Decides the Repair
Most portable pullers hold the chain by friction or a simple pin. Under 5 tons the chain finds the weak point, gives a link, and the pull angle you carefully set is gone.
The saw-tooth system engages the chain on teeth. There is no partial position and nothing to slip past, so the geometry the tech dialled in at the start is the geometry acting on the metal at the end of the stroke.
