Description

Katool KT-T900 Center Post Tire Changer and KT-B760 Wheel Balancer Package

Large alloys are the most profitable tire work and the most expensive to get wrong. One pry mark on a polished lip and the margin on the job is gone.

This package is built to handle them cleanly. The KT-T900 is a leverless center-post changer with hydraulic assist and a built-in wheel lift, clamping 12–30 in. The KT-B760 then reads with optical sensors at variable spin speeds to ±1 g in 7 seconds.

Why Choose the KT-T900 and KT-B760 Package

Both machines are specified for large, expensive wheels.

  • Leverless center-post mounting — no pry bar against the rim edge, which is where scratches and claims come from.
  • 12–30 in clamping range — the widest rim range in the line, matched to the balancer's 30 in capacity.
  • Built-in wheel lift — the machine raises heavy assemblies onto the table instead of the tech.
  • Optical sensors with variable spin speeds — high-resolution readings, cycle matched to the wheel's mass.

What's Included

  • Katool KT-T900 leverless center-post tire changer with hydraulic assist and built-in wheel lift
  • Katool KT-B760 optical-sensor wheel balancer
  • Standard mounting and balancing tooling for both machines

Made For

Built for shops where the wheels are worth more than the labour.

  • Custom wheel and performance shops
  • High-end dealership service departments
  • Specialist and exotic vehicle shops
  • High-volume tire shops running large alloys
  • Truck and SUV tire specialists

Features

  • Leverless center-post design — the tool never levers against the rim flange
  • 12–30 in wheel clamp range — the widest rim coverage in the line
  • 47 in (1,200 mm) max wheel diameter, 16 in width — oversized and wide fitments included
  • Built-in wheel lift — the assembly is raised onto the table by the machine
  • 1.5 kW (2 HP) turntable plus 1.1 kW hydraulic power — controlled force through the whole cycle
  • High-resolution optical sensor system — clear, repeatable balance data
  • Variable spin speeds, 7-second cycle at 180 rpm — fast without over-driving a heavy wheel
  • ±1 g accuracy with on-screen weight guidance — the display shows where the weight goes

The KT-T900 Changer Side

Leverless is the whole point. A conventional changer needs a mount bar levered between tire and rim, and every one of those movements is a chance to mark a polished or painted edge. The KT-T900 clamps on a centre post and works the bead with tooling that never pries against the flange.

The built-in wheel lift solves the other half. A 30-inch alloy carrying a truck tire is heavy and awkward, and hand-lifting it onto a table is how both backs and rims get damaged. Here the machine takes it.

Clamping runs 12–30 in, wheels to 47 in diameter and 16 in wide. Power is a 1.5 kW (2 HP) turntable plus a 1.1 kW hydraulic unit at 6.8 r/min on 110V 60 Hz and 0.8–1.0 MPa shop air. Net weight is 414 lbs.

The KT-B760 Balancer Side

The KT-B760 measures with high-resolution optical sensors and calculates static and dynamic imbalance automatically, so one spin yields both correction planes — which matters on the wide wheels this changer is built for.

Variable spin speeds match the routine to the wheel. A heavy 30-inch assembly and a light passenger alloy are not driven the same way, and the machine adapting keeps the cycle near 7 seconds at 180 rpm in both cases.

Accuracy is ±1 gram with on-screen weight placement guidance so the correction lands where the machine says. It takes rims to 30 in — matching the changer's clamping range exactly — wheels to 34.64 in and assemblies to 143 lbs, on a 0.25 kW motor and 110V single-phase supply.

The Right Tire Changer and Balancer Combo for Your Shop

For large alloys handled without a pry bar, this package is the pairing: a leverless center-post changer with a built-in wheel lift and 12–30 in clamping, plus an optical-sensor balancer at ±1 g.
