Description

Katool KT-T855 Vertical Press Tire Changer with 2,500 kg Press Force

Swing-arm machines pull the bead sideways over the rim edge — and on stiff, expensive tires, sideways force is where damage starts.

The Katool KT-T855 works differently: a vertical press design that applies up to 2,500 kg of direct downward force for controlled mounting and demounting, on wheels up to 43.3 in in diameter.

Why Choose the KT-T855

The KT-T855 is the vertical-press machine — straight-down force instead of side-load, with a wide dual clamping system.

  • Vertical press design, 2,500 kg force — direct downward pressure mounts stiff tires without side-loading the bead.
  • Dual clamping system — 12–24 in outer and 14–28 in inner range on one machine.
  • 110V, 60 Hz operation — a 1.5 kW motor drawing 4.7 A at full load, on common shop power.
  • Under 70 dB working noise — quiet enough for customer-adjacent bays.

Made For

Built for shops that treat stiff, premium tires with straight-down control.

  • Performance and luxury tire fitters
  • Shops mounting stiff run-flat and low-profile tires
  • Dealership service departments
  • Tire shops near customer waiting areas
  • Bays standardizing on 110V equipment

Features

  • 2,500 kg vertical press force — controlled, direct-down mounting
  • 43.3 in max tire diameter — tall fitments covered
  • 12.8 in max tire width — the common performance range
  • 12–24 in outer / 14–28 in inner clamping — dual system, wide spread
  • 1.5 kW motor on 110V — 4.7 A full-load draw
  • Electro-pneumatic operation — 0.8–1.0 MPa shop air
  • Under 70 dB noise level — quiet daily operation
  • Q235 / Q245 steel build — 635 lbs of structure

Straight-Down Force, Not Side-Load

The vertical press applies its force directly downward on the sidewall, easing the bead over the rim in a controlled arc instead of dragging it sideways. Stiff sidewalls that fight a swing-arm head simply compress and follow.

Up to 2,500 kg of press force means the machine — not the tech — supplies the muscle, with the operator metering it through the controls.

Wide Range on Common Power

The dual clamping system covers 12–24 in on the outer jaws and 14–28 in on the inner — one machine for nearly the whole passenger and light-truck board. Tires up to 43.3 in tall and 12.8 in wide fit the work area.

Power demand is modest: 110V at 60 Hz, 1.5 kW, 4.7 A at full load, plus standard 0.8–1.0 MPa shop air. At under 70 dB, it will not drown out the front counter.

The Right Tire Changer for Your Shop

For controlled force on stiff, valuable tires, the KT-T855 is the press: 2,500 kg straight down, 12–28 in of clamping spread, on ordinary 110V power.
