Description

Katool KT-T850 Tilt-Back Tire Changer and KT-B760 Wheel Balancer Package

Commercial tire work is a mixed board — a compact car's 16-inch steel, then a 35-inch light-truck assembly on a 26-inch alloy. Equipment that is comfortable at one end usually struggles at the other.

This package handles the range. The KT-T850 uses a tilt-back tower, takes wheels to 47 in and clamps 14–26 in outside on a 750 lb frame. The KT-B760 reads with optical sensors at variable spin speeds to ±1 g in 7 seconds.

Why Choose the KT-T850 and KT-B760 Package

Both machines are built to move between wheel sizes without slowing down.

  • Tilt-back tower — the column tips clear instead of swinging across the wheel, which is faster and easier on rims.
  • Variable spin speeds on the balancer — a loaded light-truck assembly is not driven like a light passenger alloy.
  • 47 in max wheel, 14–26 in outside clamping — oversized fitments and standard wheels on one machine.
  • 750 lb changer frame — the heaviest in the swing and tilt line, planted under a big bead break.

What's Included

  • Katool KT-T850 tilt-back rim-clamp tire changer
  • Katool KT-B760 optical-sensor wheel balancer
  • Standard mounting and balancing tooling for both machines

Made For

Built for shops working the whole board, every day.

  • High-volume tire shops
  • Truck and SUV tire specialists
  • Fleet maintenance facilities
  • Custom wheel and lift shops
  • Dealership service departments

Features

  • Tilt-back tower design — the column tips back to clear the wheel every cycle
  • 47 in (1,200 mm) max wheel diameter — oversized and light-truck fitments included
  • 14–26 in outside, 16–28 in inside clamping — wide rim coverage on one machine
  • 2.0 HP (1.5 kW) turntable at 6.8 r/min — controlled torque through a stiff sidewall
  • 750 lb changer on Q235 / Q245 steel — mass that does not move under a big bead break
  • High-resolution optical sensor system — clear, repeatable balance data
  • Variable spin speeds, 7-second cycle at 180 rpm — fast without over-driving a heavy wheel
  • ±1 g accuracy with on-screen weight guidance — the display shows where the weight goes

The KT-T850 Changer Side

The tilt-back tower is the design difference. Instead of swinging the mount head sideways across the wheel, the whole column tips back out of the way and returns to the same position every time. Setup stays repeatable and no arc passes over a painted rim.

Capacity is where it earns its price: 47 in maximum wheel diameter, 15 in width, clamping 14–26 in from outside or 16–28 in from inside. Oversized alloys and standard passenger wheels run on the same machine.

The frame is 750 lbs of Q235 and Q245 steel — the mass a big bead breaker needs under it. The turntable is 2.0 HP at 6.8 r/min on 110V power and 0.8–1.0 MPa shop air.

The KT-B760 Balancer Side

The KT-B760 measures with high-resolution optical sensors and calculates static and dynamic imbalance automatically, so one spin produces both correction planes — which matters most on wide wheels where those planes sit far apart.

Variable spin speeds are what let it work a mixed board without compromise. A loaded light-truck assembly and a light passenger alloy get routines suited to their mass, keeping the cycle near 7 seconds at 180 rpm either way.

Accuracy is ±1 gram with on-screen weight placement guidance so the correction lands where the machine says. It takes rims to 30 in, wheels to 34.64 in and assemblies to 143 lbs, on a 0.25 kW motor and 110V single-phase supply — the same as the changer.

The Right Tire Changer and Balancer Combo for Your Shop

For a mixed commercial board, this package is the pairing: a tilt-back changer rated to 47 in and an optical-sensor balancer with variable spin speeds and ±1 g accuracy.
