Description

Katool KT-T830 Assist Arm Tire Changer with Bead Blast Seater

Low-profile and run-flat sidewalls do not bend — they fight. Without an extra set of hands pressing the bead down, every stiff tire becomes a two-person job.

The Katool KT-T830 wheel clamp tire changer brings its own extra hands: a double side assist arm that holds the sidewall down while the head works, plus a bead blast seater to finish the job instantly.

Why Choose the KT-T830

The KT-T830 is the stiff-sidewall specialist — assist arm pressure and blast seating on one 41 in capacity machine.

  • Double side assist arm — presses stiff beads into the drop center so one tech mounts run-flats alone.
  • Bead blast seater head with post tank — difficult beads seat in one stored-air blast.
  • Strong bead breaker — high-force separation for stubborn, corroded beads.
  • Add the KT-MC1 motorcycle adaptor when bike wheels come through.

Made For

Built for bays where low-profile and run-flat tires are the norm, not the exception.

  • Tire shops mounting low-profile and run-flat tires daily
  • Performance and wheel specialty shops
  • General repair bays running one-tech tire service
  • Dealership service departments
  • Serious home garages with performance cars

Features

  • 41 in max wheel diameter — cars, SUVs, and light trucks
  • 15 in max wheel width — wide performance fitments
  • Double side assist arm — mechanical help on stiff sidewalls
  • Bead blast seater head with post tank — instant seating
  • 12–22 in outside / 14–24 in inside clamps — adjustable jaw range
  • 2.0 HP motor, 110V single-phase — steady torque on common power
  • 6.8 r/min rotation — controlled turntable speed
  • Built-in accessory tray — tools and valves at hand

An Extra Pair of Hands, Built In

The assist arm holds the sidewall pressed into the drop center while the mounting head carries the bead over the rim — the exact help a second tech would give, available on every change. Run-flats and stretched fitments stop being all-hands jobs.

With the arm doing the pressing, the tire pivots over the rim instead of being levered, which protects both the bead and the wheel finish.

Break, Mount, Blast, Done

The high-force bead breaker separates even corroded beads cleanly, and the bead blast seater head snaps the new tire onto the rim with one release of stored air from the post tank.

The 2.0 HP motor turns the table at a controlled 6.8 r/min on a 529 lb Q235/Q245 steel frame — mass that keeps the machine planted while the arm applies real force.

The Right Tire Changer for Your Shop

If stiff sidewalls come through the door every day, the KT-T830 handles them solo: assist arm, blast seater, and 41 in of capacity in one machine.
