The KT-T800 Changer Side
The KT-T800 is a rim-clamp swing-arm changer built around a 2.0 HP turntable motor turning at 6.8 r/min. That is deliberately unhurried ā slow rotation is what lets a tech read the bead and stop before a rim gets marked.
Clamping covers 12ā22 in from outside and 14ā24 in from inside, with a maximum wheel diameter of 41 in and width to 15 in. Between the two clamping modes it takes steel wheels, alloys and low-profile fitments without a change of tooling.
At 410 lbs on a Q235 and Q245 steel frame, it stays planted when the bead breaker works. Air supply is standard shop pressure, 0.8ā1.0 MPa.
The KT-B700 Balancer Side
The KT-B700 spins the wheel at 180 rpm and returns a reading in about 7 seconds, accurate to Ā±1 gram. Static and dynamic imbalance are calculated automatically, so both planes are corrected in one operation.
What makes it easy to live with is the on-screen weight placement guidance. The display shows where the correction goes rather than leaving the tech to work it out, which keeps results consistent across whoever happens to be on the machine.
It takes rims up to 30 in, wheels to 34.64 in overall and assemblies to 143 lbs, running a 0.25 kW motor on a 120V single-phase supply.
