Description

Katool KT-RJ50 Air Hydraulic Rolling Jack with 5,000 lb Capacity

A four-post lift raises the whole car and leaves every wheel sitting on the runway. Brakes, rotations, suspension — all the work that pays — needs the wheels free, and on a four-post they never are.

The Katool KT-RJ50 fixes that. It rolls between the runways, lifts 5,000 lbs off the platforms on an air/hydraulic scissor, and frees all four wheels. Designed for the KT-4H110 and KT-4H850 four-post lifts.

Why Choose the KT-RJ50

It converts a storage-and-service lift into a full-service lift.

  • 5,000 lb wheel-free lifting — brake, tire and suspension work becomes possible on a four-post.
  • Air/hydraulic operation — shop air does the pumping, hydraulics hold the load.
  • Scissor mechanism — the vehicle comes up level rather than tipping toward one end.
  • Low-profile, smooth-rolling frame — slides into position under the car without a fight.

Made For

Built for shops running four-post lifts as working bays.

  • Independent auto repair shops with four-post lifts
  • Tire and brake service bays
  • Fleet maintenance facilities
  • Alignment shops needing wheel-free access
  • Home and enthusiast garages with a four-post and a compressor

Features

  • 5,000 lb lifting capacity — sized to the vehicles a four-post carries
  • Air/hydraulic operation — external air supply required, no electrical hookup
  • Scissor lifting mechanism — level rise across the lift points
  • Low-profile design — clears low bodywork on the way in
  • Smooth rolling action — repositioned by hand along the runways
  • Powder-coated finish — survives brake dust, fluid and daily contact
  • Compact frame — parks on the runways between jobs
  • Designed for KT-4H110 and KT-4H850 — matched to those runway widths

Wheel-Free Work on a Four-Post

The gap in a four-post lift is structural: the car sits on its tires, so anything that requires a wheel off is out of reach. Shops work around it by keeping a second lift, or by dropping the car and jacking it again on the floor.

A rolling jack removes the workaround. It sits across the runways, rolls to the lift point, and raises the vehicle clear of the platforms on a scissor so all four wheels hang free. Brake jobs, rotations and suspension work all happen without moving the car.

The scissor geometry matters here. It lifts level across both pads, so the vehicle rises squarely rather than tipping — which is what makes it safe to leave up while a wheel is off.

Air In, Hydraulics Holding

Operation is air over hydraulic: shop air drives the pump, and the hydraulic circuit carries and holds the load. There is no electrical connection to run and nothing to plug in, just the air line that already reaches the bay.

The frame is low-profile so it goes under low bodywork on the way to the lift point, and it rolls smoothly along the runways rather than needing to be dragged. Between jobs it parks on the platforms and stays out of the floor space.

The powder-coated finish is the practical touch — a rolling jack lives directly under brake dust and dripping fluid, and bare steel there does not stay presentable for long.

The Right Rolling Jack for Your Shop

To get wheel-free access on a four-post lift, the KT-RJ50 is the tool: 5,000 lbs, air/hydraulic, on a level-lifting scissor.
