Katool KT-MC1 Motorcycle Wheel Adaptor for Katool Tire Changers
A motorcycle rim is narrow, the flange is thin, and a car turntable's jaws were never shaped for it. Most shops improvise β and improvising on a $600 wheel is how a repair becomes a replacement.
The Katool KT-MC1 gives the turntable proper purchase. Purpose-shaped clamping surfaces mount to the existing jaws of a KT-T800, KT-T830 or KT-T850, turning a car changer into one that grips motorcycle wheels safely.
Why Choose the KT-MC1
It opens a service line the shop already has the machine for.
-
Clamping surfaces built for narrow rims β the wheel is held on purpose-shaped faces instead of jaw tips meant for a car.

-
Quick attachment to the existing clamps β fitted and removed between jobs, not a permanent conversion.

Why a Car Jaw Does Not Hold a Bike Wheel
Automotive turntable jaws are designed to grip a rim flange that is wide, thick and roughly at a known height. A motorcycle rim is none of those things β it is narrow, the flange is thin, and the wheel sits differently on the table.
Improvised solutions try to bridge the gap with blocks or packing. They slip under torque, and when a jaw slips against a polished rim it leaves a mark the owner will find.
The KT-MC1 replaces guesswork with a shaped contact surface sized for motorcycle rim dimensions. The wheel is held on faces designed for it, which is what makes the mounting predictable and repeatable.
Fitted in Minutes, Removed as Fast
The adaptors attach to the existing clamps rather than replacing them, so a changer is converted for a bike and back to car work without tools left lying around or a machine out of service.
That matters commercially. Motorcycle work usually arrives in ones and twos between car jobs, and any conversion that takes half an hour simply will not get done. One that takes a couple of minutes does.
Construction is heavy-duty because clamping loads do not scale down with the wheel β the turntable applies the same force regardless of what is on it.
