Alumi-Loc Mounting Hardware Kit β Complete Install Hardware and Tools
Half-finished installs happen because the hardware bag was short one jack nut. Then the ramp channel sits in the shop for a week waiting on a fastener.
This kit is the full hardware set for an Alumi-Loc ramp attaching system: eight 10-24 jack nuts, eight stainless 10-24 x 1-1/2" screws, a hex cap screw, the jack nut setting tool, both Allen wrenches and the 3/8" drill bit. Nothing else to source.

What the Kit Covers
An Alumi-Loc channel mounts to a tailgate or deck edge where you can only reach one side. Jack nuts are what make that possible β they set from the front and give you a threaded hole in sheet material.
Setting them needs a tool. This kit includes it, which is the difference between finishing the install on a Saturday and ordering a tool on Monday.
Eight nuts and eight screws is a full channel. The hex cap screw, both Allen sizes and the 3/8" bit complete the job.
Stainless, and Why
The screws are stainless. A ramp channel lives outside on a trailer or tailgate, and plated steel screws in aluminum are a corrosion pair that seizes.
The drill bit is 3/8" because that is the hole the jack nuts are sized for. Drilling by eye and hoping is how a jack nut spins in its hole.
The whole kit weighs about a pound, so it is a part to keep in the trailer box for the next install as much as this one.
