Description

5.5 HP Honda Gas Powered Twin Tank Air Compressor for Jobsites and Service Calls

No power outlet on the jobsite means no air. Running a long extension cord to an electric compressor is slow, and it often trips the breaker.

The Chicago Pneumatic RCP-508H runs on a 5.5 HP Honda gas engine, so it makes air anywhere. Its single-stage pump delivers 12.4 cfm at 100 psi into twin 4 gal tanks.

Why Choose the RCP-508H

Air wherever you park, from a Honda engine with a recoil start.

  • 5.5 HP Honda engine with recoil start β€” no outlet needed
  • 12.4 cfm at 100 psi (18.4 cfm displacement)
  • Twin 4 gal tanks in a 46 Γ— 23 Γ— 26 in package, 143 lb
  • Engine slowdown pilot valve β€” the engine idles down when the tanks are full

Made For

Built for work away from the shop's air lines.

  • Mobile mechanics and road service techs
  • Tire service on farms and jobsites
  • Contractors running nailers and air tools on site
  • Fleet yards without a compressed air line

Features

  • 5.5 HP Honda gas engine β€” recoil start
  • 12.4 cfm @ 100 psi β€” free air delivery (18.4 cfm displacement)
  • Twin 4 gal tanks β€” 8 gal of total air storage
  • Engine slowdown (pilot valve) β€” idles the engine when the tanks are full
  • Engine oil protection β€” guards the engine against low oil
  • ASME safety valves on tank and pump β€” pressure protection
  • Fully enclosed belt guard β€” keeps hands clear of the drive
  • Tank drains and discharge valve β€” simple draining and hookup

Honda Power, No Cord

The 5.5 HP Honda engine starts with a pull. There is no cord to run and no breaker to trip.

When the tanks fill, the pilot valve slows the engine down. Engine oil protection guards the engine against running low on oil.

Compact Twin Tank Layout

The two 4 gal tanks sit side by side under the pump and engine. The whole unit measures 46 Γ— 23 Γ— 26 in and weighs 143 lb.

A fully enclosed belt guard covers the drive, and ASME safety valves sit on both the tank and the pump. Tank drains and a discharge valve make daily draining and hookup simple.

The Right Air Compressor for Your Shop

The RCP-508H gives you 12.4 cfm at 100 psi from a 5.5 HP Honda engine and twin 4 gal tanks, anywhere you can drive.
