Description

Black Widow TFS-9454 Punch Plate ATV Ramp — Solid Surface, 54 Inches Wide

Rung-style ramps work until the tyres are packed with mud. Then the tread rides on the mud instead of the rung, and a quad that climbed fine yesterday spins halfway up today.

The TFS-9454 uses a punch plate surface instead — a solid deck with punched holes that bite tread and let debris fall through. It runs 7 ft 10 in long, 54 inches wide, and carries 1,500 lbs.

Why Choose the TFS-9454

A continuous surface, not a set of bars.

  • Punch plate decking — grip comes from thousands of punched edges rather than a few widely spaced rungs.
  • 54 in of width — margin either side of a full-size quad, so line-up stops being critical.
  • 7 ft 10 in of length — a shallower climb into a truck bed than a 6 ft ramp allows.
  • Folds to 18 in wide — 62 lbs of ramp that still stores against a wall.

What's Included

  • Black Widow TFS-9454 punch plate folding ATV ramp
  • Safety straps
  • Rubber-coated ramp fingers, fitted

Made For

Built for loading a quad in the conditions that make rung ramps slip.

  • ATV owners working in mud, snow or wet grass
  • Loading into a full-size pickup bed
  • Farm and property use where the machine is always dirty
  • Hunting camps and back-country access
  • Anyone who has spun a wheel on a rung ramp once already

Features

  • Punch plate surface — continuous grip with drainage through the deck
  • 54 in overall width — extra-wide for full-size ATVs
  • 7 ft 10 in length — shallow approach into a high bed
  • 1,500 lb maximum capacity — utility quads and cargo
  • 62 lb ramp weight — substantial, and folds for handling
  • Folds to 18 in x 5-5/8 in — stores flat and narrow
  • High-strength aluminum — no rust from wet ground
  • Rubber-coated fingers — hold the tailgate without scratching
  • 1-7/8 in profile — low lip at the ground end

Punch Plate Versus Rungs

A rung ramp gives the tyre a bar to push against every few inches. Between the bars there is nothing, and a tyre packed with clay bridges that gap without ever touching a rung.

Punch plate is a solid sheet perforated all over. Every square inch has an edge on it, so the tread finds something to bite regardless of where it lands or what is stuck in it. The holes let mud, water and snow drop through instead of building up.

The trade is weight — 62 lbs against the 30-odd of a bare rung ramp. It folds to 18 inches wide, which is what makes that weight manageable.

Length and Width Together

At 7 ft 10 in this ramp reaches from the ground to a full-size truck tailgate at an angle a quad can climb without a run-up, and without dragging its rear end at the transition.

The 54-inch width means the machine is never close to an edge. On a solid punch plate deck that is a genuinely continuous surface — there is no gap between runners for a wheel to drop into.

Both numbers matter more as the ground gets worse. On a level driveway almost any ramp works; on a slope in the wet, length and width are what keep the load predictable.

The Right ATV Ramp for Your Truck

To load a muddy quad into a high bed, the TFS-9454 is the ramp: punch plate decking, 54 in wide, 7 ft 10 in long, rated to 1,500 lbs.
