SKU AMC-600-2
Description

Black Widow AMC-600-2 Double Motorcycle Carrier — Two Bikes on One Hitch

Two dirt bikes and no trailer usually means two trips, or borrowing something. Neither is a good way to start a riding day.

The AMC-600-2 carries both. Two 75-inch tracks on a single hitch mount take 600 lbs total, with a stated ceiling of 400 lbs per bike, loaded by a 45-1/2 inch ramp.

Why Choose the AMC-600-2

Both machines, one receiver, no trailer.

  • Two full-length tracks — each bike gets its own 75 in rail rather than sharing one.
  • 600 lb total, 400 lb per bike — both numbers published, so the limit is clear either way you load it.
  • 45-1/2 in ramp — each bike walks up rather than being lifted on.
  • High-strength aluminum — 69 lbs for a two-bike carrier that still comes off by hand.

What's Included

  • Black Widow AMC-600-2 double motorcycle carrier
  • 45-1/2 in loading ramp
  • Hitch mounting hardware

Made For

Built for hauling a pair of light bikes without towing anything.

  • Two dirt bikes to the trail head
  • Family riding with two machines
  • Scooters and small road bikes in pairs
  • Trucks and SUVs with a Class III or IV receiver
  • Anyone who currently makes two trips

Features

  • 600 lb total capacity — across both tracks
  • 400 lb maximum per bike — the per-machine ceiling, published
  • 75 in track length — full wheelbase support on each side
  • 5-1/2 in track width — sized for motorcycle tyres
  • 45-1/2 in loading ramp — walk-up loading
  • 5-5/8 in ramp width — matched to the tracks
  • Class III or IV, 2 in receiver — standard hitch fitment
  • High-strength aluminum — 69 lbs, corrosion free
  • Removable — off the receiver when not in use

Two Numbers, Both of Which Matter

A double carrier rated at 600 lbs does not mean any two bikes totalling 600 lbs will do. The 400 lb per-bike ceiling is the second constraint, and it is the one people miss.

Two 300 lb bikes are fine — 600 lbs total, both under 400. A 450 lb bike and a 150 lb bike total the same 600 but break the per-bike limit and are not a valid load.

Publishing both figures is the honest way to state it, and it is what lets you check your own two machines against the carrier before ordering.

Tongue Weight Is the Real Limit

Six hundred pounds hanging behind the bumper applies far more leverage to a receiver than 600 lbs sitting on a tow ball. That is why this carrier calls for a Class III or IV hitch in the 2 inch size.

Check the vehicle's tongue weight rating as well as the hitch class — the carrier can be within spec while the vehicle is not, particularly on smaller SUVs.

The carrier itself is 69 lbs of high-strength aluminum. That is part of the calculation too, and it is roughly half what a steel equivalent would add before either bike is loaded.

The Right Motorcycle Carrier for Your Truck

To haul two light bikes without a trailer, the AMC-600-2 is the carrier: 600 lbs total, 400 lbs per bike, on 75 in tracks.
