Fully Automated Heavy-Duty Truck and Bus Tire Changer
Mounting and dismounting a 20" commercial truck tire on a passenger-car tire machine is a recipe for damaged rims, bent tools, and pulled backs. Heavy-duty tires need a heavy-duty machine with a hydraulic chuck, automated tools, and the muscle to handle a 250 lb tire-and-rim assembly.
The Atlas TTC305A is a fully automated truck tire changer with a hydraulic four-jaw chuck, programmable tool arm, and the capacity for 14" to 26" rims and tires up to 55" diameter. Built for fleet shops, tire centers, and heavy-truck service operations that mount commercial rubber every day.

Hydraulic Four-Jaw Chuck
On a passenger-car tire changer, the jaws are pneumatic and the clamping force is sized for a 60 lb wheel. Try that on a 22.5" steel commercial wheel and the jaws either won't grip or they bend.
The TTC305A uses a hydraulic four-jaw chuck driven by a dedicated hydraulic power pack. Clamping force is high enough to lock a 250 lb dually wheel without slipping, and the jaw range covers 14" through 26" rim diameters with the included universal adapters. Steel wheels, aluminum forged wheels, and split-rim configurations all clamp the same way.
Programmable Automated Tool Arm
Manual bead breaking on a 22.5" tire is the single hardest job in a tire shop. The TTC305A automates it. The operator clamps the wheel, sets the bead breaker depth once for that rim size, and the tool arm runs the break, demount, and mount cycles under hydraulic power.
Position presets mean repeat work on identical rim sizes is faster — set the tool position once for a 19.5" Alcoa, then re-run the same setup for every wheel in that batch. The hydraulics drive the tools through the cycle, so the operator's job is positioning and supervision, not muscle.
The Right Heavy-Duty Tire Changer for Your Shop
With its hydraulic chuck, automated tool arm, and capacity for tires up to 55" diameter, the TTC305A sits squarely in the commercial heavy-duty tire equipment bracket — sized for fleet shops, truck tire centers, and bus service operations that run commercial rubber every day.
The 220V three-phase electrical and dedicated hydraulic power pack mean this is a fixed shop installation, not a portable bay-to-bay machine. Plan for a permanent commercial bay with adequate floor space and three-phase utility service.
