Description

Atlas TC755DAA Tilt-Back Rim-Clamp Tire Changer for Professional Shops

Professional tire dealers and large dealerships face the same problem as smaller shops, scaled up: every cycle of every shift, the column geometry of a swing-arm changer fights against modern wide rims and stiff-sidewall tires. The Italian Platinum machines fix it but cost $8K+. There's been a gap in the market for a real tilt-back changer with dual assist arms at a mid-tier price.

The Atlas TC755DAA fills that gap. Foot-operated tilt-back column for clear wheel access, pneumatic locking M/D head, Atlas DAA-T dual assist arm package (left-hand pressing block + lifting disk; right-hand lifting disk + bead roller), extra-large turntable with 28 in external / 29 7/8 in internal clamping, built-in Beadblaster, 47 in max tire diameter. Most of a Platinum machine, at meaningfully less.

What's Included

  • Atlas TC755DAA tilt-back rim-clamp tire changer
  • DAA-T dual assist arm package (left + right)
  • Metal mount/demount head with replaceable plastic inserts
  • Column-mounted inflator box with gauge
  • Filter / regulator / lubricator
  • 20" tire tool and lube bucket with brush
  • Large plastic jaw covers + bead breaker shovel cover
  • Multiple replacement plastic inserts for M/D head

Made For

Built for professional tire dealers, large dealership service departments, and high-volume shops that need real tilt-back capability and dual assist arms without a Platinum-line price tag.

  • Professional tire dealers handling steady daily volume
  • Large car dealership service departments
  • Custom wheel and detail shops on premium alloys
  • Lifted truck and aftermarket specialty shops

Features

  • Foot-operated tilt-back column — lays down to clear the wheel, locks vertical for the cycle.
  • Pneumatic locking M/D head — head doesn't shift mid-cycle — no rim gouging.
  • DAA-T dual assist arms — left pressing block + lifting disk, right lifting disk + bead roller.
  • Extra-large turntable — 28 in external, 29 7/8 in internal — fits one-ton truck rims.
  • 47 in max tire diameter — covers the largest light-truck and SUV tires.
  • Built-in Beadblaster — seats stiff sidewalls in one trigger pull.
  • Button-controlled bead breaker — controls at the blade for precise operation.
  • 5,500 lb bead breaker force — breaks even stubborn beads cleanly.
  • 110V single-phase, 1 HP table motor — standard shop power.

Tilt-Back Column + Pneumatic Head Lock = Fewer Rim Scratches

The two most common sources of rim damage on a conventional swing-arm changer are operator-induced (lever scrape) and machine-induced (M/D head shifting mid-cycle). The TC755DAA addresses the machine side directly with a tilt-back column and pneumatic head lock.

Foot pedal tilts the column back, the operator drops the head onto the rim with no offset, the pneumatic lock holds it in position for the entire cycle. The head doesn't move, doesn't drift, doesn't shift under the bead. Combined with the DAA-T dual assist arms taking the lever's place on stiff sidewalls, rim scratches on premium alloys drop dramatically.

DAA-T Dual Assist Arms for the High-Volume Bay

The DAA-T package is the truck-grade version of the dual-arm setup. Left-hand arm has a pressing block (pushes upper bead into drop center) and a pressing/lifting disk. Right-hand arm has its own pressing/lifting disk and a bead roller that keeps the bead under the M/D head during demount.

For a professional bay running 50+ tires per shift, that combination keeps cycle time low even on the hardest run-flats and low-profile alloys. The arms do the work that a second operator would otherwise — single tech, dual-arm assistance, full cycle in two-thirds the time of a single-arm machine.
