Description

Tilt-Back Tire Changer and 2D Computer Spin Balancer Combo

Swing-arm tire changers fight the operator the moment a low-profile, run-flat, or oversize performance tire comes in. The arm gets in the way of the mount/demount head, and an entry-level balancer requires the operator to manually enter all three wheel dimensions on every spin. A commercial tire shop running real volume needs a tilt-back column changer and an automatic-data-entry balancer.

This combo pairs the Atlas TC755 tilt-back rim-clamp tire changer with a built-in Beadblaster and the WB49-2 automatic 2D data-entry computer wheel balancer. The tilt-back column gets the mount/demount head clear of the wheel, and the WB49-2 reads two of the three wheel dimensions automatically.

What's Included

  • Atlas TC755 tilt-back rim-clamp tire changer
  • Built-in Beadblaster
  • Atlas WB49-2 automatic 2D computer wheel balancer
  • Column-mounted inflator box with gauge
  • Filter/regulator/lubricator (FRL) unit
  • 20" tire tool, lube bucket, and brush
  • Large plastic jaw covers and replacement M/D head inserts
  • 4 centering cones, plastic quick-release nut, wheel weight pliers, measuring calipers

Made For

Built for high-volume commercial tire shops, performance and custom-wheel specialists, and dealership tire service departments handling oversized and low-profile work daily.

  • Commercial tire shops with high passenger and light-truck volume
  • Performance and custom-wheel specialty shops
  • Dealership tire service departments
  • Wheel and tire retailers running mount/balance daily
  • Quick-service bays handling oversized and run-flat tires

Features

  • TC755 tilt-back column — rim-clamp tilt-back design gets the mount/demount head out of the way for low-profile and oversized wheels
  • Built-in Beadblaster — integrated bead-seating system handles run-flats and stiff low-profile tires without a separate tank
  • Extra-large turntable — larger clamping range than the TC229 — externals up to 27 7/8" and internals up to 29 7/8"
  • 5,500 lb bead-breaker force — snaps stubborn sidewalls cleanly off the rim
  • WB49-2 automatic 2D data entry — reads distance and diameter automatically — operator only enters rim width
  • Split-weight function — hides adhesive weights behind spokes for clean balancing on alloy wheels
  • Automatic LED light auto-positioning — lights up the exact weight placement position after the spin cycle
  • Self-diagnosing and self-calibrating — WB49-2 keeps itself in spec — no scheduled service calls

TC755 Tilt-Back Rim-Clamp Tire Changer

The TC755's tilt-back column is what separates a commercial tire changer from a homeowner machine. The mount/demount head rotates back out of the way when the tire is being loaded or unloaded — that means oversized rims, low-profile performance tires, and run-flat tires don't fight the head during the change. External clamping reaches 11 7/8" to 27 7/8" and internal clamping 13 7/8" to 29 7/8", with a 47-inch maximum tire diameter and 18-inch maximum wheel width on the bead breaker.

Bead-breaker force runs 5,500 lbs and the turntable rotates at 885 ft-lbs of torque on a 1 HP motor. The button-controlled bead breaker operates from the blade itself for precise control, and the built-in Beadblaster handles bead-seating on low-profile and run-flat tires that resist a normal inflation gun. Column-mounted inflator box with gauge, FRL unit, 20" tire tool, lube bucket, brush, large plastic jaw covers, plastic bead-breaker shovel cover, and replacement M/D head inserts all included with the machine.

WB49-2 Automatic 2D Computer Wheel Balancer

The WB49-2 is a step up from the WB11 in this combo's price class — it's an automatic 2D data-entry balancer, meaning the machine reads distance and diameter automatically when the gauge contacts the rim. The operator only enters rim width by hand. That single change cuts data-entry time in half on every wheel and removes two of the three opportunities to mis-key a measurement.

Beyond automatic data entry, the WB49-2 carries a split-weight function for hiding adhesive weights behind alloy wheel spokes, automatic LED light auto-positioning to indicate exact weight placement, automatic and pedal-operated brake, automatic start/stop when the safety hood is lowered/raised, and self-diagnosing electronics. Optional accessories add a 3D width-measuring gauge for full automatic 3D data entry. Display reads in grams or ounces, mm or inches.

The Right Commercial Tire Changer and Balancer Combo for Your Shop

At 5,500 lb bead-breaker force, a tilt-back column, a built-in Beadblaster, and automatic 2D data entry on the balancer, the TC755 + WB49-2 combo is built for the commercial tire shop running serious daily volume. Maximum tire diameter on the changer reaches 47 inches and external clamping reaches 27 7/8 inches — well into oversized and custom-wheel territory.

The crate includes the column-mounted inflator box with gauge, FRL unit, 20" tire tool, lube bucket and brush, large plastic jaw covers, replacement M/D head inserts, four centering cones, plastic quick-release nut, wheel weight pliers, and measuring calipers. Both machines run on 110V circuits, both are CE approved, and no anchor-down installation is required.
