TC289 Swing-Arm Tire Changer + WB11 Computer Balancer Combo
Adding tire and wheel service to a general repair shop, a farm, or a busy home garage usually means choosing two separate machines and hoping the pairing makes sense — clamp range matching, voltage matching, accessory overlap. A factory combo bundles that decision into one part number and one supplier conversation.
This pairing puts the Atlas TC289 rim-clamp swing-arm tire changer next to the Atlas WB11 computerized spin balancer. The TC289 external-clamps from 11 7/8" to 27 7/8" with 5,500 lb of bead breaker force and a 47" max tire diameter, and the WB11 balances cars and light trucks to 1-gram accuracy with manual data entry across a 10"–32" rim range.

TC289 Swing-Arm Tire Changer
The swing-arm design swings the mount/demount head clear of the wheel between tires, so the operator can stand directly over the turntable and lever the bead without the column getting in the way. Plastic protectors slip onto the jaws and the head to keep alloy and chrome finishes clean during the cycle.
The external clamping range of 11 7/8" to 27 7/8" covers everything from small passenger rims up through most light truck sizes, and the internal range extends to 29 7/8" for larger one-piece alloys. The oiler/filter/regulator unit is wired in by the factory — connect shop air at 90–110 PSI and the machine is ready.
WB11 Computerized Spin Balancer
The WB11 is a manual-data-entry balancer — diameter, width, and distance-to-flange are dialed in once per wheel and stored for the cycle. Balance speed is 150 rpm and the controller resolves correction weight position to 1.4 degrees with 1-gram total accuracy.
Self-calibration runs at startup, so the machine doesn't drift between sessions and doesn't need a tech to take it offline for a tuning pass. The 40mm shaft mounts the standard Atlas centering cone set included in the package, covering cars and light trucks with no extra adapter purchases.
The Right Tire & Wheel Combo for Your Shop
This pairing is the volume-appropriate match for a shop adding tire capability or a farm that wants to handle its own work. The TC289's 5,500 lb bead breaker and the WB11's 1-gram accuracy are commercial-grade on both machines without the price step up to fully-automatic 3D data entry.
Both units run on 110V single-phase power and arrive with the full operator accessory pack — inflation box, FRL unit, lube bucket and brush, jaw protectors, centering cones, pliers, calipers — so the bay is functional uncrating day.
