Rim-Clamp Tire Changer and Wheel Balancer Combo Package
Standing up a tire service bay means committing to a tire changer and a balancer that talk to each other — capacity matched, both running on shop voltage, both backed by the same brand if something needs service later. Mismatched machines bought separately leave gaps in what your bay can actually do.
This combo pairs the Atlas TC289 rim-clamp swing-arm tire changer with the WB41 computerized spin balancer, both CE-approved and both running on 110V. The TC289 handles rims from 11 7/8" to 29 7/8" with 5,500 lb of bead breaker force, while the WB41 reads dynamic imbalance on a raised, easy-to-read display.

TC289 Tire Changer Build
The TC289 is a rim-clamp swing-arm tire changer with an extra-large turntable, three adjustable jaw positions, and a maximum tire diameter of 47 inches. Air pressure runs 90 to 110 PSI through the included oiler, filter, and regulator, with absolute ceiling at 140 PSI — exceed that and you risk damaging the cylinder seals.
The adjustable bead breaker plate handles wheels up to 18 inches wide, and the built-in beadblaster gives you a high-volume air burst at the bead for stubborn tubeless mounting. Plastic protectors on the jaws ship with the changer — no separate purchase needed to protect alloy wheels from day one.
WB41 Wheel Balancer Features
The WB41 is computer-controlled with static and dynamic balancing modes, rapid OPT optimization, and self-diagnosis with self-calibration. The raised display sits at a comfortable reading height for techs working a busy bay — small ergonomic detail that adds up over a long day.
The display switches between grams and ounces and between mm and inches, so the readout matches whatever wheel weight inventory your bay already uses. The 4 centering cones, plastic quick-nut, wheel weight pliers, and measuring calipers are included — the balancer is ready to spin its first wheel the day it lands.
The Right Tire Service Combo for Your Shop
Both machines are 110V, both CE approved, and both come with the standard Atlas 1-year parts coverage. The TC289's bead breaker force and rim-clamp range cover essentially every passenger car and light-truck wheel rolling into a general repair bay, and the WB41's automatic data entry and OPT routine keep cycle time short on a busy day.
Optional add-ons like center post adapters, quick-change plastic head kits, light truck adapter kits, and universal lugcentric adapters extend the combo's range later if your wheel mix changes. The base combo as supplied is a complete CE-approved tire service bay out of the crate.
