Rim-Clamp Tire Changer and Spin Balancer Combo with Built-In Beadblaster
Most small-shop tire changers will mount a passenger tire but struggle the moment a stiff run-flat or a low-profile performance tire hits the table — the bead won't seat with a standard inflation gun, so the operator goes hunting for a portable bead-seating tank. And buying the changer and balancer separately means matching electrical specs and air specs by hand.
This combo pairs the Atlas TC229 rim-clamp swing-arm tire changer with a built-in Beadblaster and the Atlas WB11 computer spin balancer. The built-in Beadblaster handles stubborn beads without a separate tank, and both machines plug into standard 110V circuits.

TC229 Tire Changer with Built-In Beadblaster
The TC229's external rim-clamping range runs 9 3/4" to 23 1/4" and internal locking from 11 5/8" to 25 1/4" — fits virtually every passenger and light-truck wheel up to a maximum tire diameter of 39 inches. The built-in Beadblaster is what separates the TC229 from entry-level changers: stubborn beads on run-flats, low-profile performance tires, and stiff light-truck sidewalls seat without a separate portable tank.
Bead-breaker force runs 5,500 lbs and the turntable rotates at 885 ft-lbs of torque on a 1 HP motor — enough force for stiff light-truck sidewalls without overworking the machine. Jaws and the bead breaker are air operated (external air supply at 90-110 PSI required, must not exceed 140 PSI). The included FRL unit, inflation gun with gauge, 20" tire tool, lube bucket, and brush get the changer working out of the crate.
WB11 Computer Wheel Balancer
The WB11 is a computer-controlled spin balancer reading imbalance to 1 gram with a 1.4-degree weight position resolution. Static and dynamic balancing modes cover everything from a passenger wheel to a light truck wheel, and the self-diagnosing / self-calibrating electronics keep the balancer in spec without scheduled service calls.
Wheel data is entered manually across all dimensions (distance, rim diameter, rim width) — appropriate for a small-volume bay where the operator already handles the data input as part of the work cycle. Rim sizes from 10" to 32" and a maximum wheel weight of 150 lbs cover every passenger and light-truck wheel. Balancing speed is 150 rpm.
The Right Tire Changer and Balancer Combo for Your Shop
At 5,500 lb bead breaker force, a built-in Beadblaster, and 1-gram balancer accuracy, the TC229 + WB11 combo handles a passenger and light-truck tire workload without a separate bead-seating tank or a separate balancer. Both machines fit the same 110V circuit and both carry CE marking.
The crate includes the inflation box with gauge, FRL unit, 20" tire tool, lube bucket and brush, plastic jaw covers, four centering cones, plastic quick-nut, wheel weight pliers, measuring calipers, and replacement plastic inserts for the M/D head — operational from setup with no add-on adapter orders to chase.
