Swing-Arm Tire Changer with Built-In Beadblaster — Heavy-Duty Shop Workhorse
A rim-clamp tire changer that struggles to seat stubborn run-flat beads is a daily productivity drain. If your machine doesn't have a built-in bead seater, you're juggling an external air tank, a separate bead blaster tool, or burning time on a single tough wheel.
The Atlas TC229 builds a Beadblaster system directly into the turntable, with 3-position outward-clamping jaws that handle 11" to 22" rims and a 5,500 lb bead breaker that takes off the toughest sidewalls in one shot. Self-contained, shop-ready, daily-driver capable.

Integrated Beadblaster Bead-Seating System
Run-flat tires, stiff sidewall performance tires, and any tire that's been sitting on a wheel for a while can refuse to seat its bead under standard inflation. The traditional fix is a separate handheld bead blaster — another tool to find, charge, and clean.
The TC229 builds the Beadblaster nozzle and air reservoir directly into the turntable casting. Drop the wheel onto the table, hit the blast pedal, and a controlled burst of compressed air forces the bead onto the rim seat in a single shot. No external tank, no extra tool, no wasted minutes per wheel.
3-Position Outward-Clamping Turntable
The 4-jaw turntable clamps from outside the rim in three preset positions — 11", 14", and 22" — giving you a wide range without per-wheel jaw adjustments. Outward clamping keeps the jaws away from the wheel face on most fitments, which protects polished and painted finishes.
Combined with the 5,500 lb pneumatic bead breaker, the turntable handles everything from a compact passenger tire up to a 39" max diameter light truck tire. The 9.5" maximum wheel width covers oversized off-road and dually fitments commonly run on light trucks.
The Right Tire Changer for Your Shop
With the built-in Beadblaster, 5,500 lb bead breaker, and outward-clamping 3-position turntable, the TC229 sits in the heavy-duty commercial bracket — built for shops that mount and dismount tires every day, not weekend project use.
The 220V single-phase electrical and shop-air pneumatic system mean any commercial bay with standard utilities can drop the TC229 in and start running tires the same afternoon.
