Atlas STW-750 Extra Large Spray Wash Cabinet for Heavy Engine and Transmission Cleaning
For shops doing engine rebuilds, transmission service, or any work that involves cleaning large greasy components, hand-degreasing in a small parts washer is slow and incomplete. A heated spray wash cabinet with a heavy-duty turntable cuts cleaning time on a V8 short block from 45 minutes of scrubbing to 15 minutes of automated washing.
The Atlas STW-750 is built for that work. 50-gallon tank, 1,000 lb capacity turntable strong enough for any auto or light-truck engine, 19 adjustable steel spray nozzles, 43 GPM water pump, and a heater that brings the wash solution to 135-175°F for cutting grease. Cut-away sides under the door let an engine crane roll right over the turntable for loading.

Why a Heated Spray Cabinet Beats a Cold Parts Washer
A small cold parts washer is fine for small parts and light cleaning, but cold solvent and a brush can't keep up with engine grease, carbon deposits, or transmission fluid residue. A heated spray wash cabinet uses three things that a cold washer doesn't: temperature (cuts grease chemically), pressure (mechanical removal), and time (cycles run 30-60 minutes unattended).
For a shop rebuilding even 2-3 engines per month, the time saved on parts cleaning pays for the cabinet inside a year. For high-volume engine shops, it's not optional equipment.
43 GPM Pump and 1,000 lb Turntable Are Why It Cleans Engines, Not Just Brackets
Most consumer-grade spray cabinets run a 10–20 GPM pump and a 300–500 lb turntable. That's enough to clean small brackets, calipers, and pulleys, but it can't move enough hot solution to flood-rinse a V8 block, and the turntable starts flexing under the weight of anything bigger than a head. The STW-750's 43 GPM pump pushes more than double the typical volume of hot detergent through the 19 adjustable nozzles, so every surface gets continuous high-pressure flow instead of intermittent mist.
The 1,000 lb turntable is rated for any auto or light-truck engine — long-block V8s, cast-iron diesel components, transmission cases — without the rocking or drift that ruins nozzle aim on lighter-duty cabinets. Combined with the cut-away door sides, an engine on a crane drops straight onto the turntable, the door closes, the cycle runs, and the next part is already staged on the bench.
