8,000 lb Air/Hydraulic Bridge Jack for 4-Post Lifts
Working under a vehicle on a four-post lift means the wheels stay on the runways — great for storage and alignment, but not for brake, suspension, or wheel-off service. You need a way to lift the chassis off the runways without rolling the vehicle to a two-post.
The Atlas RJ8000 is an 8,000 lb capacity air/hydraulic rolling bridge jack that rides between the runways of a four-post lift. Telescoping arms extend over the runways to the vehicle's frame lift points, and two solid lock positions hold the chassis at working height while the runways stay clear underneath.

- Serious home garages with four-post storage lifts
- Restoration and project-car builders
Features
-
8,000 lb capacity — handles the gross vehicle weight of most passenger cars, SUVs, and light trucks
-
Air/hydraulic operation — shop air pressure does the lifting work — no manual pumping required (external air supply needed)
-
Telescoping arms — extend from 40" minimum to 68" maximum to reach lift points across the runways
-
Expandable rail supports — adjust from 33" to 53" between-runway spacing to fit most four-post lifts
-
Roller system — glides smoothly under the full length of the vehicle without binding
-
Multiple safety lock positions — two mechanical lock positions hold the chassis without relying on hydraulic pressure
-
Scissor lift mechanism — rises evenly so the lift pads stay level under load
-
Powder coated finish — resists rust and chemical exposure in a working shop environment
Telescoping Arms and Adjustable Rail Supports
The RJ8000's arms extend from a minimum width of 40 inches out to a maximum of 68 inches, so the lift pads can reach factory frame lift points across the runways of nearly any four-post lift on the market. That covers everything from a Miata sitting close to centerline to a full-size truck with wide frame rails.
The expandable rail supports underneath sit on a unique roller system that lets the jack slide along the length of the four-post runways without dragging. Adjust the support width anywhere from 33 to 53 inches between runways and the rollers carry the load — no lifting and repositioning between wheel positions.
Mechanical Safety Locks and Truck Adapters
Two solid mechanical lock positions engage to hold the vehicle suspended above the runways. Once locked, the hydraulic cylinder is taken out of the pressure path — the locks carry the load directly, working like a pair of integrated jack stands. That's the correct way to keep a vehicle in the air for any length of time.
The included 4-piece truck adapter set adds 2 inches and 3 inches of lift height at the pad. Trucks and larger SUVs that sit higher than the average passenger car still get clean contact at the factory lift points, with the lifting height reaching 27 inches at full extension with adapters in place.
The Right Rolling Jack for Your Shop
At 8,000 lb capacity with telescoping arms reaching 68 inches and rail supports spanning 33 to 53 inches, the Atlas RJ8000 fits the runways of essentially every four-post lift Atlas sells, and most competitors' lifts as well. The 27-inch max lift height with adapters covers nearly any chassis-up service work you'll do on a four-post.
The 4-piece peg-style truck adapter set, expandable roller-mounted rail supports, and 1.5-inch arm hole sizing are all included — there's nothing else to buy before the jack is working in your bay. Air/hydraulic operation runs on 70 to 115 PSI shop air, well within standard compressor output.
