Add-on rolling bridge jack for the Atlas Garage PRO9000 (used singly) and Atlas APEX9 (used in pairs, also marketed as "ProJack 45" in APEX9 lift combos) 9k 4-post lifts.
4,500 lb Air/Hydraulic Rolling Bridge Jack for 4-Post Lift Bays
Storing a vehicle on a 4-post lift is easy; getting the wheels off the runways to service brakes, suspension, or tires while it's up there is the hard part. Climbing up with a floor jack works for one corner — for two wheels at once you need a jack that lives on the lift itself.
The Atlas RJ45A is a 4,500 lb capacity air/hydraulic rolling bridge jack that drops onto the runways of a 9,000 lb capacity 4-post lift and lifts the vehicle off the runway at any point along the lift's length. Includes a 4-piece truck adapter set, a scissor mechanism for level lifting, multiple safety lock positions, and runs on 70-115 PSI shop air.
What's Included
- Atlas RJ45A 4,500 lb air/hydraulic rolling bridge jack
- 4-piece truck adapter set (4 each at 1 1/4" and 5")
- Scissor lifting mechanism with multiple safety lock positions
- Roller arms (adjustable 36" to 54" wide)
- Air/hydraulic power head (external air supply not included)
Made For
Built for shops and serious home garages that already own a 9,000 lb 4-post lift and need to get the wheels of the vehicle off the runways for service work — brakes, tires, suspension, exhaust.
- Home garages with an Atlas Garage Pro 9000 (or similar 9,000 lb 4-post)
- Independent service shops running 4-post bays
- Tire shops swapping wheels on a 4-post stored vehicle
- Restoration and detail shops with a 4-post storage lift
- Fleet service bays using 4-post lifts for routine wheel service
Features
-
4,500 lb Capacity — Lifts the front or rear axle of vehicles up to roughly 9,000 lb gross — matched to the typical 9,000 lb hobbyist 4-post lift like the Atlas Garage Pro 9000.
-
Air/Hydraulic Operation — An air-powered hydraulic head does the lifting work — the operator runs the lift control without manual pumping. Requires 70-115 PSI shop air.
-
Adjustable 36"–54" Roller Arms — Roller arms span 36" to 54" between runways, fitting the gap on the typical 9,000 lb hobbyist 4-post lift.
-
Lift Arm Width 30"–60.5" — The lifting pads themselves adjust from 30" to 60.5" center-to-center — accommodating the lifting points on both narrow sedans and wider full-size trucks.
-
Scissor Mechanism for Level Lifting — The scissor design keeps the lifting pads level throughout the travel — no rolling forward or backward as the jack rises.
-
Multiple Safety Lock Positions — Mechanical safety locks engage at multiple heights, preventing inadvertent hydraulic descent during service work.
-
4-Piece Truck Adapter Set Included — Four 1 1/4" and four 5" adapters in the box — reaches the higher frame lift points on body-on-frame trucks without buying a separate kit.
-
Compact Low Profile — Stows on the runways of the 4-post lift when not in use — doesn't occupy bay floor space.
How a Rolling Bridge Jack Changes 4-Post Lift Use
A 4-post lift parks the vehicle by its tires. Without an additional jack on board, anything that requires removing the wheels — brake rotors, tires, wheel bearings, shocks, springs — means either dropping the vehicle, jacking under the frame off the lift, or trying to fit a floor jack between the runways while the vehicle is elevated.
The RJ45A rolls along the runways to any position along the length of the lift, then drops the jack down to capture the frame or factory lift points and lift the vehicle's wheels free of the runway. The 4,500 lb capacity is enough for one end of any vehicle up to roughly 9,000 lb total — which is the design point of the typical 9,000 lb hobbyist 4-post lift.
Air/Hydraulic Operation Without Manual Pumping
Air-over-hydraulic means the operator's air supply runs the hydraulic pump on the jack — no manual pumping like a traditional floor jack. The air requirement is 70-115 PSI, which any normal shop compressor or even a serious home-shop compressor supplies easily.
Together with the scissor lifting mechanism and the multiple safety lock positions, the jack lifts smoothly and locks at any working height. The included 4-piece truck adapter set (four 1 1/4" and four 5") covers most factory lift points without buying an additional adapter kit; the arm-hole / adapter peg size is 1 1/2".
The Right Rolling Bridge Jack for Your 4-Post Bay
If your shop or garage already runs a 9,000 lb capacity 4-post lift and you want to do real wheel-off service on it, the Atlas RJ45A is the matched rolling bridge jack — 4,500 lb capacity, air/hydraulic operation, scissor mechanism for level lifting, multiple safety locks, and the included 4-piece truck adapter set.
The lifting pads span 30" to 60.5" between centers, and the roller arms adjust 36" to 54" between runways — between those two adjustment ranges, the RJ45A fits the typical 4-post lift runways and reaches the lift points on almost any passenger or light-truck vehicle.
