Description

Platinum Tire Changer and 2D Wheel Balancer Combo for Commercial Tire Shops

Running a tire bay means juggling two machines that have to keep up with each other — a tire changer that can break stubborn bead seats and clamp anything from a 10-inch passenger rim to a 24-inch SUV rim, and a balancer that finishes each wheel fast enough to keep the install bay moving. Buying them piecemeal leaves you mismatched on power, voltage, and accessories.

The Atlas Platinum PTC300 + PWB50 Combo Package pairs the PTC300 swing-arm rim-clamp tire changer with the PWB50-110V computer-controlled spin balancer. Both run on standard 110-volt single-phase power, the PTC300 clamps 10" to 24" external / 12" to 26" internal with a 6,924 lb bead-breaker force, and the PWB50 handles 10" to 30" rims up to 165 lb max wheel weight with 1-gram accuracy and a 7-second cycle.

What's Included

  • Atlas Platinum PTC300 rim-clamp swing-arm tire changer
  • Left-hand assist arm with pressing/lifting disk and pressing block
  • Built-in beadblaster (external air supply required)
  • Oiler, filter, and regulator (FRL) unit
  • Inflation box with gauge
  • Tire tool, lube bucket, and lube brush
  • Plastic protectors for rim and mount/demount head
  • Atlas Platinum PWB50-110V computerized spin balancer
  • 4 centering cones, plastic quick-nut, wheel-weight pliers, and wheel measuring calipers

Made For

This combo is built for shops that need a complete tire-service station out of one purchase — both units running on the same 110V circuit, the same Italian engineering, and the same Atlas service network.

  • Independent commercial tire shops
  • Auto repair shops adding tire service
  • High-volume dealership service departments
  • Fleet maintenance facilities servicing light-duty vehicles
  • Mobile tire installers building out a permanent shop bay

Features

  • 26" Internal Clamping Capacity — The PTC300 swing-arm clamps internal rim diameters from 12" up to 26", covering everything from compact passenger tires to large SUV and light-truck rims.
  • 6,924 lb Bead-Breaker Force — Enough force to break the bead on stiff sidewalls and stuck OEM seats without resorting to a hammer — the bead-breaker cylinder is anodized aluminum for corrosion resistance.
  • Left-Hand Assist Arm Included — Helps press tough beads down and lift them over the rim during demount, so a single tech can change run-flats, low-profile tires, and heavy SUV tires without a second set of hands.
  • Built-In Beadblaster — An integrated bead-blaster cylinder delivers a high-pressure air burst to seat stubborn tires onto the rim — no separate beadblaster tank to wheel over.
  • PWB50 Automatic 2D Data Entry — A single integrated gauge measures rim distance and diameter automatically, so the operator only sets width manually and the balancer takes care of the rest.
  • 1-Gram Accuracy / 1.4° Weight Resolution — The PWB50 reads imbalance down to 1 gram and places weights with 1.4-degree angular resolution, so finished wheels run smoother and chase weights are rare.
  • Optimatch, FES, and OPF Programs — Optimatch helps minimize residual imbalance by repositioning the tire on the rim; FES (Fast & Easy Split) hides adhesive weights behind spokes; OPF (Opposite Position) brings the weight location into reach when applying adhesive.
  • Both Machines 110V Single-Phase — Plug both into standard single-phase shop circuits — no three-phase wiring or rotary converter required to get the bay running.

Italian Swing-Arm Tire Changer Built for the Way a Tire Bay Actually Works

The Platinum PTC300 is the evolution of the most familiar tire-changer configuration in commercial tire shops worldwide — a rim-clamp swing-arm machine with an extra-large star-shaped turntable. The swing-arm design lets the operator move the mount/demount head out of the way completely while loading and unloading the wheel, which speeds up cycle times in a busy bay.

The high-torque 110V electric turntable spins at 7 rpm — fast enough to keep the bay moving but controlled enough to avoid damaging alloy rims. Operating air pressure is 145 PSI, supplied by the shop's existing compressor, with the included filter/regulator/lubricator unit conditioning the air before it reaches the cylinders.

Computer-Controlled Balancer with the Diagnostic Tools to Match

The PWB50-110V is a 2D-entry computer-controlled spin balancer with a 130 rpm balancing speed and a 7-second cycle time. Self-diagnosis and self-calibration mean the operator can confirm the machine is reading true at the start of every shift without calling a service tech.

The display switches between grams or ounces and millimeters or inches, so the same balancer handles imported and domestic specs without conversion charts. The 40 mm shaft and four included centering cones cover the vast majority of passenger and light-truck wheel hub bores out of the box.

The Right Tire-Service Combo for Your Shop

Buying the PTC300 and PWB50-110V together gets you a matched 110V Italian-built tire-service station — the changer handles 10"–24" external clamping with a 6,924 lb bead-breaker, and the balancer reads down to 1 gram on rims up to 30 inches. Both machines are CE approved.

Everything you need to start servicing tires on day one is included: the PTC300 comes with the left-hand assist arm, FRL unit, inflation box, tire tool, lube bucket and brush, and plastic protectors; the PWB50 comes with the centering cones, quick-nut, weight pliers, and measuring calipers.
