9,000 lb Flush-Mount Full-Rise Scissor Lift — Zero Above-Ground Obstruction
Above-ground lifts eat real estate. Posts, base plates, cross-members, and drive-on ramps shrink the working area around the vehicle and force techs to walk around steel. In a busy service department, that wasted space adds up to one or two fewer bays per building.
The Atlas FM9SL is a 9,000 lb full-rise scissor lift designed to sit flush with the shop floor. No posts, no overhead beams, no cross-bars — a clean floor when lowered and a vehicle at working height when raised. Drive over from any direction, position the vehicle in tight bays, and lift to over six feet (73 3/4" with blocks) on the 220V single-phase power unit. When the job's done, the FM9SL drops back into the floor and the bay is open again.

Why Flush-Mount Beats Old-School In-Ground
Traditional in-ground lifts mean a deep pit, cast cylinders sunk below grade, and a power unit buried somewhere only the original floor-plan engineer remembers. When something breaks, you're tearing up concrete to fix it — and modern shops won't touch them.
The FM9SL flush-mount design needs only a shallow pit deep enough to recess the platforms — roughly 13" of lowered height. The electric/hydraulic power unit sits above ground in a self-contained box that's easy to access for fluid checks, hose inspection, and component service. You get the clean-floor look without the buried-equipment headache.
Adjustable Geometry for Real-World Vehicles
The platforms slide between 0" and 31" of separation, and the front and rear extensions add up to 16" of length when needed. That means the same lift handles a short-wheelbase sports car and a long-bed full-size truck without compromise.
Important loading note: this is an open-center scissor lift with no cross support bar. The vehicle's frame must sit at least 6 inches from the inside edge of each platform. Narrow-frame vehicles (sports cars, some imports) may need an accessory support bar kit (sold separately) to prevent the platforms from going "pigeon toed" under uneven loading. Hydraulic oil is not included — plan for 3–5 gallons of AW32 or AW46 on setup.
The Right Flush-Mount Scissor Lift for Your Shop
With 9,000 lb capacity, full-rise lifting height, drive-over-from-any-direction access, and CE certification, the Atlas FM9SL brings the open-bay layout of an in-ground lift with a fraction of the install effort.
