ALI certification is the recognized safety standard for vehicle lifts in North America — a third-party engineering review and physical load testing against ANSI/ALI ALCTV. Most hobbyist-grade four-posts on the market skip certification entirely. The Apex 8 is independently tested and listed by ETL.
