14,000 lb Heavy-Duty Commercial 4-Post Lift
Standard 9,000 lb and 12,000 lb hobbyist 4-post lifts run out of margin the moment a 3/4-ton dually pulls onto the runways with a topper, a fifth-wheel hitch, and a full toolbox. The vehicle weight crosses the lift's rated capacity and the runway flex starts to show. Commercial fleet shops, body shops, and truck restorations need a 14,000 lb capacity lift with the runway length and column height to match.
The Atlas 414 is a 14,000 lb commercial-grade 4-post lift built with diamond-plated runways, an oversized hydraulic cylinder mounted under the runways, a cable-driven lifting system, and double-lock safety. It's extra-tall, extra-wide, and extra-long compared to a hobbyist 4-post — fits crew cab duallys, long-wheelbase work trucks, and class-1/2/3 commercial vehicles.

Features
-
14,000 lb capacity — handles crew cab duallys, full-size work trucks, and class-1/2/3 commercial vehicles that overload smaller 4-post lifts
-
Diamond-plated runways — textured runway surface gives the operator clean footing and gives the vehicle tires positive traction
-
Cable lifting system — high-strength cable system with an under-runway oversized hydraulic cylinder — no exposed cylinder to ding doors
-
Double-lock safety system — lock-ladder design with redundant secondary locks across the lifting range
-
Single-point air lock release — one control drops all four locks simultaneously (external air supply required)
-
Bridge-jack tracks between runways — between-runway tracks accept a rolling bridge jack like the Atlas RJ8000BK for wheels-off service
-
Powder coat finish — commercial-grade finish for daily shop use and chemical exposure
-
220V single-phase operation — 220V single-phase motor with a 30 amp breaker — no three-phase electrical service required
Extra-Tall, Extra-Wide, Extra-Long Heavy-Duty Build
The Atlas 414's length between columns of 197 1/4 inches and runway length of 208 5/8 inches handle a maximum wheelbase of 197 inches — that's long enough for crew cab duallys, extended-cab trucks, and full-size SUVs that overhang a hobbyist 4-post. Drive-thru of 102 1/8 inches gives wide-stance vehicles clean entry to the runways.
Lift height reaches 80 inches at the top of the runway with 71 1/4 inches of clearance underneath — enough working room for an adult to walk under the lifted vehicle. Column height of 91 1/8 inches and clearance between columns of 116 inches accommodate full-size cabs and box vans without binding. The lift requires a minimum of 6" of concrete with a 3,000 PSI rating.
Cable Lifting System and Bridge-Jack Compatibility
The Atlas 414 uses a high-strength cable lifting system with an oversized hydraulic cylinder mounted under the runways, powered by a 220V single-phase motor. Cable systems are easier to level than chain systems, hold synchronization better over long service life, and the under-runway cylinder placement keeps the cylinder out of door-ding range during service work.
Between the runways, the 414 carries built-in tracks for a rolling bridge jack such as the Atlas RJ8000BK. That means wheels-off brake, suspension, and tire service happens on the same lift without rolling the truck to a two-post — useful for shops with limited bay count or for restoration work where the same vehicle stays on the lift for days. Rolling jacks are sold separately. Single-point air lock release (external air supply required) drops all four locks at once.
The Right Heavy-Duty 4-Post Lift for Your Shop
At 14,000 lb capacity with a 197-inch maximum wheelbase, diamond-plated runways, and a cable lifting system with an oversized under-runway hydraulic cylinder, the Atlas 414 is built for commercial shops running fleet work, body work, and heavy-duty truck service. Drive-thru of 102 1/8 inches accepts wide-stance vehicles, and lift height of 80 inches gives a tall working area underneath.
Between-runway bridge-jack tracks accept a rolling jack like the Atlas RJ8000BK (sold separately) for wheels-off service without leaving the lift. Steel approach ramps, lock ladder with double-lock safety, single-point air lock release, and all mounting hardware are included in the crate. 220V single-phase electrical (30 amp breaker) means no three-phase service is required.
