12,000 lb Heavy-Duty Commercial 4-Post Storage Lift
An 8,000 or 9,000 lb 4-post lift is fine for passenger cars and half-ton trucks, but a 3/4-ton dually, a fully loaded service van, or a commercial work truck quickly maxes out a hobbyist-grade lift. For heavy storage and service applications you need a real 12,000 lb capacity 4-post rated for daily commercial duty.
The Atlas 412 is built for that work. 12,000 lb capacity, heavy-gauge steel runways with diamond-plate driving surface, air-operated single-point lock release, and a column design rated for commercial-bay use. This is a working 4-post — service-bay, fleet-yard, and heavy-duty storage all in one platform.

12,000 lb Commercial Capacity
There's a meaningful jump between an 8,000 lb hobbyist 4-post and a 12,000 lb commercial unit. The columns are taller and thicker, the runways are heavier gauge, the lifting cables are sized for the load, and the hydraulic cylinder is rated for sustained duty cycle.
The 412 is built around that 12,000 lb rating from the ground up. A loaded dually truck with a service body and a full tool inventory rolls onto the runways at maybe 9,500 lbs — well inside the 412's working capacity, with margin for the spare tire and steel toolbox you never thought to subtract.
Air-Operated Single-Point Lock Release
On a manual 4-post, every descent means walking to each column, lifting the lock pawl, and walking back to the control. That's fine once a day for storage; it's a thousand wasted steps a week in a service bay.
The Atlas 412 uses an air-operated lock release tied to all four columns. Connect shop air to the lift, and a single lever at the control unit raises the lock pawls at every column simultaneously. Lower the lift, release the lever, and the pawls drop back into the next lock position automatically.
The Right Heavy-Duty 4-Post for Your Shop
At 12,000 lb capacity with heavy-gauge runways, air-operated lock release, and commercial-duty column construction, the 412 is built for shops and yards that load and unload heavy trucks every day — not weekend storage use.
The 220V single-phase electrical means most commercial bays can run the 412 without adding a three-phase service. Plan a permanent installation with adequate floor space for the 17 ft overall length and 10+ ft column height.
