Most fence kits assume flat ground. Run one across a slope and you either step the panels and leave gaps under them, or you cut and re-weld on site.
The ALEKO Tokyo kit is built to rake. The panels follow grade up to 30 degrees, so a hillside boundary closes tight to the ground without custom work. One box covers 64 feet: eight panels, eight posts, eight caps and 48 connector brackets in galvanized steel under an 80-micron black powder coat.
Built for boundaries that do not sit level β hillside lots, graded yards, and sites where a flat-only kit would leave gaps.
A standard panel is a rigid rectangle. On a slope it has to be stepped, which leaves a triangular gap under each panel β the place dogs get out and debris blows through. The Tokyo panel raking to 30 degrees closes that gap because the panel itself tilts with the ground.
That also means one part number covers the whole property. Flat stretches and graded stretches use the same kit, so there is no measuring the slope first and ordering two different products.
Galvanizing puts a zinc layer on the steel; the powder coat goes over the top. On the Tokyo kit that coat measures 80 microns, a heavy build for fencing and the reason the finish resists chipping and peeling rather than flaking at the first scrape.
That two-layer approach is what separates a commercial fence from a seasonal one. Rust starts where the finish fails, so the thicker the coat, the longer the steel underneath stays untouched.
At 64 feet per kit, the Tokyo covers a typical side or rear boundary in a single order, level or not. Panels bolt to the posts with the included brackets, so a two-person crew can lay out the run without sourcing extra hardware.
Assembly is required, and the 8 ft. posts leave room to set below grade for a rigid line. If the run is longer than 64 feet, kits combine end to end using the same bracket pattern.
